Is true In-Page editing possible technically with EditorJS?

I have installed a test site to test the In-Page editing function based on the EditorJS. However the In-Page editing opens a new separate edit windows to edit the content and move the focus from the page. I wonder if technically possible to use the EditorJS as real In-Page editor. I mean do the edit of the content where it is and still see all other content around it.

zoda What do you mean with possible? I guess it is possible to build an editor that integrates seamlessly. Why is that relevant?

mad I came to Automad via the EditorJS github and tested even other applications based on EditorJS.
I'm not a programmer so I do not know what technically possible, but in all of them opens a separate editor area when content edits. EditorJS is a very nice editor and I'm looking for a solution for creating and editing documentation, where the front-end editing is possible for logged in users (editors). However I'd like achieve an in-line editing or in-page editing or in-place editing what term is the right... In all of the tested applications the EditorJS opens on a separate editor page and loads into the existing content for editing. So I wonder if it on the whole is possible to use the EditorJS as in-place editor without to open a separate editor area. Please let me know if something is still not clear in my question. Thank you!

zoda I think that ContentTools JS components might be something more down your alley. I never used them tho, so I can't tell how hard it would be to integrate them in a CMS-like system. Keep in mind that it doesn't have the extra functionality of AM's EditorJS version, like customizable grids, gallery, pagelist, filelist, etc.

Everyone Thank you for the suggestion! I found the demo https://getcontenttools.com/demo and tested a little. I will take a look on it. The user do not have to leave the content page when editing. ..so the question is still there, is it technically possible to do near the same with EditorJs?
