Desktop and mobile menus behavior

Hi @mad! Thanks for you great work!
Maybe I didn't get something... Can you please explain me why in all themes for Automad CMS we have two menus? What I mean > If you toggle 'Show In Navbar' then you'll get "classic" top-menu which will hide as expected in "mobile view" but in the same time in "desktop mode" you can't hide mobile "burger" menu icon and it's content even if this menu is emply. So, when you are in "desktop mode" you have two menus in the same time. If it's an expected behavior then can you help me to override it because I think the "more expected behavior" is when we have "burger-menu" ONLY in mobile rendering. Thank you!

Gizmo Hi, by design, only a few links to special or external resources should be shown in the navbar. Therefore the main page tree navigation always resides in the burger menu.

However, the you are not limited to use one of the default themes or you can even change the templates to remove that behavior.

Ok, now I get it. It's a design decision.

I don't want to spam this forum with another topic, so I'll ask you here one more question.
Maybe there is another logic in design that I don't get too 😂
Why in the dashboard's sidebar the position of site settings and options is higher than section with all our pages? I mean website is about adding/editing content and not about constant tinkering with settings. Maybe it's better to have options/settings in some hidden/collapsible menu item so they will not distract editor from writing?

Gizmo 🙂 Don't worry, feedback is always welcome. You can use the jumpbar to navigate. That is actually the quickest way.
