How to stage automad?

i have a live website at the same domain/url where i want to install automad.

How to install automad to a different directory and configure, while not disrupting the existing site?

I'm on dreamhost shared hosting. My domain currently goes to a get-simple installation. https://mydomain.org.

i extracted automad to a directory next the existing get-simple directory. But, when i browse to https://mydomain.org/automad, i don't get the automad dashboard.

Solved. I had to put automad inside the get-simple directory.
I wonder if this installation will break if i move it to the top-level folder later.

johnywhy Hi, that should be fine. You can move the install directory around without any issue.
