Feature request - links to have target="_blank" option

Something I - and perhaps others? - would be incredibly grateful for, is if when creating a button or link, there could be a little checkbox option to Open link in new tab. In the meantime, because I can't afford to lose my readers away from my site when I link to external sites, I have to bypass the link option and change the whole paragraph into Markdown/HTML.

john I put it on the list. In the meantime you could add some JavaScript to the footer items in order to add a target attribute to all links that have an external URL.

john Hi, just add this to the Items Footer field in the general settings:

Hi Mad, i use this _blank-script in General Data and Files. It works fine, but ... when i add address to "Items Footer" on a page, than i overwrite all scripts. Is there another solution?
