Is there a bug in the new version? (Can't hide in Navbar).

I have attempted to hide the pages, "Kirklees" and "Holme Valley", but they still appear.

I only began to experience this issue with version 1.7.xx

Please let me know if there is a solution.

Thanks, Mad. The Show in Navbar is definitely not checked, and yet it is still showing in the Navbar!

And when I installed version 1.7 on another site, I got the same problem with my home page also showing in the Navbar. No problem for any other pages. The problem of pages showing in the Navbar even when 'Show in Navbar' is not checked, seems to be limited to:

Home page
Any page that has a child

I have a site that is still on version 1.6.12. Let me prove that here...

Now I will take a screenshot of the Navbar. You will see there is nothing there.

Now I will update the site to version 1.7.3

and do nothing else, but will immediately take a screenshot of the Navbar. You see? The page appears in the Navbar automatically, after updating.

Now, I will confirm that Navbar is still definitely unchecked...

john Thanks for elaborating on it. I have taken a look at it. Can you quickly try the following to make sure there is no corruption in the file that stores the page data:

Check the Show in Navbar
Save the page
After saving, uncheck it again
Save a second time

That would help a lot to understand. And what browser do you use? That might also be important in this context.
