Hi,

First of all, thank you for such a great CMS and selection of themes.

I just started using Automad with the Bulma theme (

). All works fine except that I cannot get the search to work. My apologies if I overlooked smth but I simply did not understand what URL should be provided in the 'Url Search Results'?
Thank you…

rahmiLale changed the title to Help with 'Search Results' .

rahmiLale Hi there! Thank you! In order to make the search work you have to follow these steps:

    1. Create a page somewhere using the Blog or Portfolio template
    2. Use the internal URL of that page for the Url Search Results variable

Note that the internal URL is just the slug of the page without the domain. For example if your search results page has the URL yourdomain.com/search-results then the internal URL is just /search-results.

You should be able to add the correct URL by just clicking the little link icon in the input field and start typing the name of the page you want to use.

Hi, Mad! Thank you for your prompt reply.

As you suggested I created a page (with the name search-results) using the portfolio template; however, the issue remains the same: when I search a term, the search-results page loads but with no content.

    Any suggestions?

rahmiLale You’re welcome. Can you check if the results page has other filters enabled? Did you try to apply one of the standard themes to figure out if the issue is related to the theme?

Yes, the issue is related to the Bulma theme. It worked when I applied any of the other themes.
Any suggestions on how to edit the Bulma theme?
      Thanks a bunch in advance!

rahmiLale Hey, sorry to see you have issues there. I will have to take a closer look at it. I quickly tried it myself and it worked as expected.
