mad Mena I don't know Yourls so much and therefore I can't really judge what has to be done there — but the Automad package itself is pretty easy to create. It is not more than a tiny PHP wrapper class to be able to use it in a template. Check out this guide and this guide for more info about writing plugins. There is also a cheat sheet for using PHP in Automad that might be helpful.
