Mutiple of same Variables or Snippets in a page

How to handle multiple instances of a snippet in a template?.

If I insert the same snippet with content variables into a template two or more times
e.g <div><@ snippets/available-from.php @></div> <more code> <div><@ snippets/available-from.php @></div>
The content appears the same in all of the instances no matter which one the content was entered in... probably because the variables within the snippet will be appearing more than once?

Is there a solution for this?

maakbow I‘m not sure if I understand you correctly, but you can use runtime variables to use the same snippet with different variables.

<@ set { ':temp': @{ text1 } } @>
<@ snippet_file.php @>
<@ set { ':temp': @{ text2 } } @>
<@ snippet_file.php @>

Within the snippet you just use the ':temp' variable.

mad Thanks heaps for answer but i couldn't get this to work. Also each snippet has seven separate edit variables as i want to keep formatting that a single text editor would break. Even if it worked that would mean so many variables it may as well be static

BUT
I created a page for each snippet entry, hid the pages, and now i can filter my supplier list. and I can either edit content on the hidden pages OR the supplier list.
SO ITS WORKING WELL

I can redirect the hidden pages back to the supplier list page in case it gets googled.

Have only tested local so far
