As i am writing page names in Russian, Automad provides a link changing letters to A-Z format. But is there a way to choose custom links like ../home/zapiska to ../home/note without changing the title of the page.

khomutovspace Hi, unfortunately that’s not supported at the moment. The dashboard uses the page title to create the directory for a page. That path is used to build the URL. But in case you’re not using the dashboard, you can just change the directory name.

mad So it looks that using another var for titling the page in the layout is a good idea. But as I understand it can not be used in Nav then? But ok for Pagelist, yeah?

khomutovspace Hi, in case you’re developing the template yourself, you can also use a custom title variable in navigations. That’s actually a good idea. You could also use the normal title as fallback then as follows:

@{ customTitle | def (@{ title }) }
