images not showing up after setting up a domain redirection

Hi!

After setting up domain redirection on my hosting space, all images does not display. They just lost "src" attribute, HTML is rendered as:
<img src="" alt="escape-from-the-city.jpg">

Take a peek at website with URL redirection:
http://dominikburlinski.com

As far I am using direct url to folder (without domain redirection), everything looks fine:
http://serwer1638601.home.pl/dominik/

Is a SSL certificate a must to run an Automad website? Or shall I fix something else?

WojtekTraczyk Hi, I just took a look at the debug log. It looks like the resolved paths for the images are missing a leading /. How did you make the redirection? Is there an .htaccess?

Yeah, I upload via FTP .htacess file in the form included in release.

Strangely, the gallery variable is set “/pages/gallery//*.jpg” - and it works correctly when you go straight to the server directory (without customer url).

I am afraid that uploaded .htacess file may be ignored by hosting company for -I don’t know -security concerns(?). I found in the client panel that during setting up an domain redirection there’s an option to customise configuration (which seems to be creating an htacess info via panel). I’ll check it at the afternoon and report it again.

Hello, @mad – problem resolved with setting up my hosting preferences differently.

.htacess file was't blocked by hosting company («home.pl» in particular).
seems that setting my domain with 'redirecting without separation' option resolved all the issues. So, one shall avoid 'redirecting with separation' option in order to keep my Automad site well and healthy – that's all.
