Opacity to background images and color?

The Automad content compositor has it own color and images selector.

How to assign a RGBA to background colors instead only RGB? (I want add alpha )
SOLVED: Is possible to add manually the ALPHA code after HEX color code. #FF00FFCC (for ex)

How to assign opacity to backgroun images?

If I assign a CSS class with opacity all layer content is affected (titles and text for ex)

At the time of writing, CSS's background-image has no support for any opacity other than the image' own alpha channel. It doesn't have anything to do with the CMS itself. You can try to fake this effect with something like a ::before pseudo element stretched under the actual content.

Yes !
I kown the ::before trick, but I cant find where Automad engine is writting the background-image class to remove for it and create the ::before class.

Any idea where? 🙂

JTorres It’s just CSS. You can add a rule for the element you want to add the pseudo class to the items header field.
