HTTP 500 Error on dashboard after installation

Hey,
I just have discovered Automad and wanted to try it out.
So, I've unpacked the zip on my local server (using MAMP with Apache) and checked the permissions.
The frontend works, and the page is visible. However, clicking on the "Sign In" link aka going to the dashboard I'm getting a HTTP 500 Error.

I tried the manual installation also on my web server – having the exactly same issue.

Anything I can do to get it to work?

Hannes Hi, thanks for reaching out. I have just released a fix that addresses the issue.

Got the same issue. Somehow has to do something with the latest version.
I am running version 1.10.0 now and it works fine.

Funny enough:
You can update the Automad version 1.10.0 automatically to the latest version from within the dashboard and everything continues working!

Only a new setup of Automad 1.10.7 with no accounts.php brings up the error 500

Seems like the break happens in 1.10.4.
1.10.3 still works!
