khomutovspace What is the right format for snippet path in blocks editor? Can you explain the idea where to start typing address from or just give an example?
mad khomutovspace Hi, the root for snippets is always the installation directory of Automad. The path must be absolute. /packages/vendor/theme/snippets/file.php
maakbow Great to see v 1.5. Thanks for improving Automad Marc. I love the idea of snippets as blocks. It's good to see a simple implementation of simply pointing to the snippet. I know this is experimental but I have struck a couple of issues so ill mention them. I don't seem to be able to repeat a block as it shares variable. A user can add it multiple times easily, but each entry has to share the same content data. If there is a way to write partials to have a temp variable to allow reuse, it would be awesome to see examples of this. Entering by url is great while developing and I can see the path to the snippets folder in my IDE but that is outside the ability of someone logging in to only enter content. WOULD it be possible to have somewhere in the dashboard, either System Settings or General Data and Files where you set the path to the snippets folder. Then select any snippet file from a list of snippets within that. I guess it would be even possible for me to create a separate directory for user accessible snippets, so only appropriate ones can be chosen.
maakbow Also is there a way to access/target specific block content editors. e.g if we have a snippet we want the user to be able to add that has an heading, a paragraph and an image, could the image content use the block image entry?
