I like the idea of an option to choose a language for the dashboard UI. But now there are some problems. The first one is about amount of variables. Different languages contain less vars than English (default) does. It is not very difficult to deal with, because I know I can just add them and translate, but I think it is an issue still. And the other thing is the question on how can I help to make a normal translation for my language?
khomutovspace Hi there! Thanks for your feedback. 😀 The language feature is still a bit experimental. The english file actually has the same amount of variables than all other files, but at the moment some UI features don't support translations. The block editor is one of them. It is planned to add support for those elements as well in the future.
Regarding your own translation file, it is still possible to define a custom text file for a language in the config.json file.
mad also buttons such as "Cancel" and "Ok" don't support translation, as well as "date" variable in page settings 🙁
khomutovspace Yeah. I think you’re referring to the confirmation dialog. That one can’t be translated for now. All other OK buttons — except the block editor ones — are translated. And please understand that variable labels get generated from the variable name. Therefore the date label is not translated yet. As mentioned before and described in the docs, that feature is still in an experimental phase.
