New to Automad | file structure?

Hi. I'm new to Automad.
It seems to exactly fulfill my requirements. I have it installed locally and it's working, however i wish to create a completely custom site with no framework and I'm having difficulty working out the template/partial relationship in the folders under "packages". I have installed the theme skeleton. Do i develop all my templates and partials inside "theme-skeleton"? It would be helpful if there was a rundown of installed files, what they are for and if they are required or not.

Because I generally create sites from scratch I would love actually to dispense with the "themes" altogether, but is this structure required for the templating to work?.

Where do i look in the docs to find this information?

Do I create partials in a "theme-skeleton/Snippets" folder like i find inside the "standard/alpha" themes?

Also. sorry.
Whats the difference between the partials inside "standard/bravo/snippets" and "standard/snippets"?
Are some snippets simply up a level because they are used in both 'bravo' AND 'alpha' themes or do these snippets have different functionality that requires them to be in a different place?

maakbow Hi, the structure is completely free. You can move the snippets to any folder. When calling a snippet you specify the relative path. The included themes and the skeleton just show a few options. But there is no strict rule. The standard themes just have one common snippets folder for things both themes include. There is also no need to develop in the skeleton folder. Just create your own folder under packages and it will be fine. 😊

@mad Thanks for the answer. That's great to hear and suspected you would have made it configurable. I'm an older html/css/sass person so a little weak with lots of dev knowledge. I'm working it out though trail and error > trial and success.
